Michelin-starred Carters of Moseley to permanently relocate

Michelin-starred Birmingham restaurant Carters of Moseley is to permanently relocate to a new site in early 2024.

The restaurant, launched by Brad Carter and Holy Jackson in 2010, has temporarily moved to a glasshouse at Westlands, its supplier of edible herbs, flowers, and plants, in Evesham for a summer pop-up.

This is due to come to an end on 5 November, after which Carters of Moseley will relocate to a new permanent location, which has yet to be confirmed.

At Westlands, the team are serving an £85 eight-course menu based around the area's "natural bounty" and an ethos of "ultra-British seasonality".

An outdoor terrace has been created for the pop-up with the support of sparkling wine producer Gusbourne.

Carter said: "I'm buzzed to be cooking at Westlands UK, to see our idea come to fruition feels great. Westlands UK are committed to sustainability so our responsibility throughout summer is to support their ongoing mission of work - the menu sits at around 75% of produce grown in and around the dining space."

Carters of Moseley has been awarded three-AA-rosettes and has held a Michelin star since 2015.

Carter is also behind the One Star Döner Bar kebab shop concept, which launched in Manchester in 2021.
