Michelin-starred Stark's sister tapas bar Dos to close

Dos tapas restaurant in Broadstairs, Kent, a sister site to Michelin-starred Stark, is to close by the end of the year.

"Ben and I are so proud of what we achieved with Dos, creating a place to eat that delivers something to everyone on every level – from flavours to experience – and it's been such a fun journey to be a part of," co-owner Sophie Crittenden posted on Instagram.

She added that, from January, Stark will be expanding its service "to try and keep up with the demand of tables that we're still lucky enough to have" with two team members from Dos joining Stark.

Ben and Sophie Crittenden opened the restaurant two years ago within the original Stark site, which moved to a larger premises on the same street.
