DoubleTree by Hilton London Westminster rebrands as the Westminster London following £30m conversion

The former DoubleTree by Hilton London Westminster has rebranded to the Westminster London under Hilton's Curio Collection following a two-year, £30m conversion.

The hotel, owned by Westmont Hospitality Group, has 464 bedrooms and suites across eight categories, with all rooms featuring separate bedroom and dressing areas, floor-to-ceiling windows, 50-inch smart TVs, giant high-pressure rainfall showers and Nespresso machines.

It also has an STK Steakhouse restaurant, the second in the capital, which has its own bowling alley. On the ground floor is dine-in and takeaway restaurant Bao Yum Café, serving bao buns and Taiwanese small plates.

Other amenities include five meeting rooms for up to 115 delegates, a 13th-floor fitness room with panoramic views of the River Thames, private group check-in facilities and a 24-hour concierge service.

The Westminster London is Hilton's fourth Curio Collection hotel in London, alongside the Trafalgar St James, 100 Queens Gate and Lincoln Plaza. Around 100 hotels and resorts in nearly 30 countries and territories fall under the soft brand, which offer "authentic, curated experiences through distinctly local offerings and elevated amenities".

Matt Williams, general manager of the Westminster London, said: "We look forward to welcoming our first guests and showcasing our passion for exceptional food, drink and hospitality. As UK and international travellers return to the capital, we are confident we can make a real mark on the London dining scene and we can't wait to give our guests an unforgettable stay."

Nightly room rates start from £165.

Hilton has a portfolio of 18 brands comprising more than 6,500 properties and more than one million rooms in 119 countries and territories.
