Bennett Hay scoops £1.2m catering deal at SEB

Support services business Bennett Hay has scooped a new £1.2m catering contract at Nordic financial services group SEB's London offices.

The three-year deal sees Bennett Hay take over from incumbent operator Bite Catering, which previously managed the operation.

Bennett Hay, which was launched in 2010 by former Mitie directors Anthony Bennett and Robin Hay, will manage the staff restaurant, café bar, hospitality, fine dining and events services.

The company will also use its ‘guest touchpoint survey' mystery shopper programme to help SEB understand the needs of its staff and visitors and to create a tailored training programme for the combined facilities management (FM) team.

Paula Carvell, head of catering and facilities at SEB, commented: "We awarded Bennett Hay the contract as a result of their innovative ideas of taking our catering and reception service to the next level, and most importantly working closely with our on-site FM team to improve the service to our clients both internally and externally through the Bennett Hay transformation training programmes."
