Charlton House lands Virgin Atlantic staff catering deal
Charlton House has landed a lucrative contract to provide catering and hospitality services at Virgin Atlantic.
Industry opinion suggests the deal to provide meals for around 2,000 Virgin staff at three locations will be worth around £2m a year.
The caterer, part of the wider CH&Co group of hospitality businesses, described the tender process as rigorous and extensive, during which it demonstrated innovation, creativity, healthy offers within its Wellbeingbeingwell programme and company values that reflect those of Virgin.
Caroline Fry (pictured), chief executive of CH&CO business and industry, said: "In a challenging, highly competitive marketplace, our emphasis on healthy food is winning through with clients like Virgin who prioritize the wellbeing of their workforce and recognise the many advantages of offering healthy nutritious meals at work.
"Virgin Atlantic staff are themselves dedicated to offering impeccable service to their clients, so it is essential that they have access to the healthiest and most nutritious food to keep them on top form, and that's where the Charlton House team can really deliver."
