Compass launches Caffé Dallucci at Griffin House in London
Compass Group UK & Ireland has launched its café and deli offering Caffé Dallucci at client site Griffin House in Hammersmith, London for Liberty Global and Virgin Media.
The high-street style café, which was installed following a competitive tender process, will offer a seating area for 49 people.
It will serve a variety of food options including freshly made sandwiches, salads and sushi, as well as a range of hot and cold drinks.
Cold press coffee will be brewed daily on site for 12 hours and a range of whole leaf teas, infusions and guest coffees will also be available.
The opening of Caffé Dallucci has created five new jobs at the site and is the first time the brand has been introduced outside of the Compass business.
Louise Pilkington, marketing director for Compass Group UK & Ireland, said: "We created the original concept to respond to customer demand for great coffee, delicious food and a welcoming place to take a break or work, throughout the day. The offer has been built on three pillars: provenance, seasonality and nutrition.
"The focus of the brand is freshly prepared and locally sourced and the new site includes a display which conveys to the client and customers where the products have come from."
Louise Roche, head of property and facilities at Virgin Media, added: "We chose Caffé Dallucci for our staff as we were impressed by the quality of coffee and flexibility within the footprint. We recognise that by providing a great place for staff to eat and socialise, it helps to create a more positive work environment."
Compass first launched the Caffé Dallucci brand at its Chertsey headquarter site last year after being brought over from the Germany business.
