OCS Group secures contract with GLA for more than £17m

Facilities management firm OCS Group has secured a contract with the Greater London Authority (GLA) worth more than £17m.

The contract will be for six years initially but can be extended to 11 years if both parties agree.

It will see OCS provide catering services at the café at City Hall and the Café on the Square, Trafalgar Square. OCS will provide a full hospitality service for staff and visitors at both locations.

The catering arm of OCS has been providing food services to the GLA since 2006 and the new contract was awarded on 24 December 2015.

Speaking when OCS was first awarded the GLA contract, Alex Fleming, amenities manager for the GLA, said: "We were impressed by OCS's ‘can-do' attitude, the quality of their food offering and their high standards of presentation through Eligo.

"As they shared many of our values, we felt they would be ideally placed to work in partnership with us as we drive forward our healthy eating and food sustainability strategies."

OCS Catering works across a range of sectors including healthcare, business and education.

The Outsourced Client Solutions Group is an international business, which delivers sustainable solutions for facilities management issues.
