Pabulum wins £400,000 Kent school contract
School meals caterer Pabulum has won a three-year, £400,000 contract to produce meals for Hayes Primary School in Bromley, Kent.
The Fleet-based independent contract caterer said it had won the contract as a result of its reputation for nutritionally well-balanced meals using seasonal, local and sustainable ingredients.
Paul Donlan, director of sales at Pabulum, said: "Healthy eating is a very important issue for families today and Pabulum's commitment to honestly good food has struck a chord with schools across the South. Combine this with the skills and creativity of our chefs and we believe we have an irresistible proposition for schools like Hayes Primary, that value the health and well-being of their pupils. It's a fundamental stepping stone to future academic achievement."
Head teacher Joanna Brinkley added: "We have been truly impressed by the Pabulum team. Their creativity, flexibility and menu options were second to none and we are sure that the company's reputation for excellent levels of service behind the scenes will back these up. We're delighted to be working with them and are looking forward to a long and successful partnership."
