Sodexo Prestige wins £4.5m bundled services deal at Conference Aston

Sodexo Prestige has cleaned up with a £4.5m bundled services deal at Conference Aston, Birmingham.

The three-year deal will see the food service and facilities management business deliver catering, housekeeping and cleaning services at the collection of conference, hotel and event venues in Birmingham city centre.

Sodexo Prestige will provide conference and banqueting catering, including a full restaurant offer from breakfast to dinner, room service to the 162 hotel bedrooms and hotel lounge drinks and bar meals.

It will also operate private restaurant facilities for corporate dining, weddings and social banqueting, as well as manage the housekeeping services in the hotel.

David Johnson, managing director for Sodexo Prestige England and Wales, said the food offer would be prepared on site using fresh, seasonal produce that was underpinned by the company's Fairtrade, ethical and sustainable commitments.
