Guillaume Lesage appointed general manager of No.15 Great Pulteney

The Guest brothers have appointed Guillaume Lesage general manager of No.15 Great Pulteney in Bath, having acquired the 40-bedroom property late last year.

Arriving from the Bannatyne Group's Charlton House Hotel & Spa near Glastonbury in Somerset, where he has been general manager for more than two years, Lesage is working alongside No.15's managing director Jonathan Walker during a one-month handover period. Walker is "looking to further projects within the hotel industry" after four years with the property.

Lesage was also previously general manager at Exeter's Hotel du Vin from February 2016 to October 2017.

Ian and Christa Taylor sold the hotel to first-time hoteliers Tristan, James and Tom Guests' Guest Holdings in October 2019 for an undisclosed amount. The Taylors launched the property as a hotel in December 2016 following the renovation of three Grade I-listed Georgian townhouses.

Lesage said: "I am much looking forward to working with Jonathan in the coming month as he hands over the day-to-day reins and meeting the dedicated hotel team of 35 staff for a seamless transition."

The Guest brothers added: "In Guillaume we are confident that we have found the person who can uphold all that has been so wonderfully created at No.15 to date and we now look to building on that success during 2020 and well beyond. We thank Jonathan enormously for his support and continued commitment to No.15 since last October and on behalf of the whole team at No.15, we also wish Jonathan all the very best for the future."
