Bespoke adds Clumber Park hotel to its portfolio
The Bespoke Hotel Group has added the Clumber Park Hotel & Spa in Nottinghamshire to its portfolio of three- and four-star hotels, spas and clubs.
The 73-bedroom hotel and spa, close to Sherwood Forest, is now part of the management group, which recently opened a boutique hotel in Bermondsey Square.
The hotel is owned by Leeds-based firm Moorgarth Leisure, which originally bought a third of the hotel in 2006 and acquired the remaining two thirds from private investors Peter Grazier and Derek Macdonald in July this year.
The hotel has also recently undergone a complete refurbishment worth £400,000 of all its bedrooms, spa, swimming pool, whirlpool and gym.
Bespoke's managing director, Robin Sheppard, said: "Clumber Park hotel is an excellent addition to the Bespoke portfolio. It is performing well in a challenging market, and we hope to be able to build on their virtues of service and attention to detail."
Earlier this year the company also won the management contract for a group of nine three- and four-star properties previously in administration, and announced opening dates for new hotels in London's West End, Greenwich, and Cornwall.
Sheppard added: "Results this year highlighted our approach has been the right strategy and is paying off, despite the difficult conditions. We have established the Bespoke Hotel Group as a seriously beneficial option for property investors and owners."
