Entries open for fourth HRS Hotel Excellence Awards

Nominations for the fourth annual HRS Hotel Excellence Awards are now being sought.

The closing date for the awards, which are run in association with the British Hospitality Association and the Best Practice Forum, is Friday 5 November.

Simon Calder, travel editor of the Independent, is one of this year's judges and will be hosting the ceremony on 26 January 2011.

Award categories include Best Family Friendly Hotel, Best Value for Money Hotel and Excellence Through People.

At the start of this year, Bradford's Dubrovnik hotel picked up the Robert Ragge Award for Innovation for its efforts to attract business during the recession.
