Hotelympia to host a star-studded speaker line-up

Diego Masciaga (pictured), the renowned general manager of the three-Michelin-starred Waterside Inn in Bray, Chilango co-founder Eric Partaker, and Robert Nadler of Nadler Hotels will be among a host of top speakers at the Hotelympia show in London next year.

The show, which takes place at ExCeL London from 29 February until 3 March 2016, offers an exciting line-up of talks and discussions on a variety of issues affecting hospitality throughout the event.

Partaker will join Thomas Davies, chief investment officer of Seedrs, and Fraser Thompson, the chief executive of Chapel Down, to talk about the risks and rewards involved in crowdfunding.

Meanwhile, Nadler and restaurateur Martin Williams of M Restaurants will discuss how to create a winning concept, and Masciaga will front a session entitled A Service Masterclass, sharing his experience in offering exceptional customer service.

Among the many other speakers on the programme at the event will be chefs Adam Byatt of Trinity restaurant in London, Mark Sargeant, Sophie Michell and James Steen, to talk about the rise of the multimedia chef in Britain.

Meanwhile, the Innovation Awards, held in partnership with The Caterer, will make a return.

The awards aim to highlights the most groundbreaking new products in hospitality.

A dedicated Innovation Awards area at the show will house the products of each finalist for all to see throughout the four days, before the winners are announced.

Meanwhile, new for 2016 is a Meet the Buyer programme, created in partnership with CESA (Catering Equipment Suppliers Association) which will see buyers' requirements matched to the exhibitor whose equipment best meets their needs. They will then be able to speak directly and confidentially to manufacturers on everything from technical specifications to energy-saving benefits.They will also be able to compare and contrast kit and try before they buy.

CESA director Keith Warren said: "As the largest hospitality exhibition in the UK calendar, CESA and its membership is proud to support and continue our successful and established association with Hotelympia, which helps to fund many of CESA's activities throughout the year.

"The 2016 event is set to have the largest selection of catering equipment on show anywhere in the UK, while the new Meet the Buyer programme adds yet another compelling reason for visitors to make London the only destination they need visit for all their equipment requirements in 2016 and beyond."
