1. It's a breeze
FreshBed by IPH (Improving People's Health) is a clean and healthy sleep system incorporating new technology that kills dust mites, reduces allergens and regulates body temperature. The unique Breeze technology sends a current of temperature-controlled warm air through the mattress to create the perfect sleep environment. The ideal sleeping temperature is 28°C, which prevents perspiration or chills and is deadly to dust mites.
A dedicated HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filter removes allergens from the air. Available to request as an addition to any new mattress, the Breeze technology is built in and comes with a small control box, which can be adjusted to make small changes to the sleeping environment by altering the silent airflow. FreshBed technology has recently been installed in some rooms at the Zetter hotel in London's Clerkenwell.

Litter in its place
RoomMate and WaiterMate are hygienic, non-contact table-top litter pots from Tideeze International. Measuring 125mm high and 120mm in diameter, they have a one-litre capacity, so there's plenty of space for single-portion wrappers that usually end up on the table. Integral to the system are the unique self-closing disposable liners, which are practical, hygienic and quick to change. The pots are dishwasher-safe and made from durable ceramic. Available in a variety of colours, they can be branded with any logo or used with a clear acrylic sleeve to promote events, display menus and special offers or even generate advertising revenue.

All white on the night
The Prima bed linen range from Richard Haworth is manufactured from a newly developed fabric consisting of a unique blend of cotton and polyester fibres which combines the softness of cotton with the durability of polyester and a high level of whiteness retention. Products include bed sheets, duvet covers and a selection of pillow cases.

Curtain call
Hotels planning to refurbish their bathrooms might want to choose the white-on-white Regency Stripe or the Classic White textile shower curtains from Gelson Professional, both manufactured from soft woven polyester fibres treated with Proseal to ensure maximum water repellence. A fully weighted hem prevents the curtain clinging to the user while showering, and a reinforced top hem gives added strength. The curtains are supplied bagged and ready to hang, with 12 eyelets. Skin deep
Guest International has introduced two Crabtree & Evelyn ranges of guest toiletries for hotels. In the Aloe Vera skin care collection, pure aloe vera gel and natural extracts are combined with skin-conditioning emollients to keep skin soft and subtle. The Jojoba Oil collection contains golden jojoba oil obtained from the first pressing of the oil-rich seeds. Jojoba's natural properties help combat damage done daily to the body by the environment. The Aloe Vera range comprises 30ml and 50ml Body Lotions, Hydrating Body Wash, Conditioning Shampoo, Conditioner, 35g Glycerine Cleansing Bar, 40g Carton Soap and a selection of accessories, including shower caps and sewing and vanity kits. The Jojoba selection has all of the above except it has a 50g Carton Soap instead of the 40g Carton Soap.
