Leicestershire hotel sold off £1.35m asking price

The Hermitage Park hotel in Coalville, Leicestershire, has been sold off an asking price of £1.35m.

New owner Shaheen Iqbal also owns the Comfort Inn in Boston, which he acquired last year.

The purpose-built Hermitage Park hotel caters for commercial guests during the week and has built up a strong local trade for food, functions and weddings.

Along with 25 double/twin en-suite bedrooms, the property offers a 120-seat banqueting room, a 24-seat brasserie with bar servery, and a bar with seating and a dining area for up to 40 people.

There is also a conference room for 20 delegates with a divisible suite that can take between 26 and 50 delegates theatre-style.

Previous owner Mark Williams has submitted a planning application that could add up to 20 more bedrooms across the property and would involve building a new floor and a new block.

The hotel was marketed through the Nottingham office of Christie + Co.
