Pub entrepreneur snaps up Rab Ha's in Glasgow

David Davidson, a pub entrepreneur with outlets across the UK, has bought the leasehold on Glasgow's Rab Ha's Bar, Restaurant and Hotel.

The boutique hotel, restaurant and bar lies in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City.

Its name is a shortened version of Robert Hall, a 19th century resident of Merchant City whose appetite for fine food earned him the title "The Glasgow Glutton".

The property comprises a traditional open-plan bar that can hold around 75 people, a 52-seat basement restaurant, and four en-suite bedrooms.

Property agent Creevy LLH sold the property on behalf of McLeans Wines & Spirits off a guide price of £65,000 for the leasehold, with an annual rent of £60,000.
