Surrey buyer for West Cliff hotel in Bournemouth

The two-star Croham Hurst hotel in Bournemouth has been sold off an asking price of £1.25m for the freehold.

The 41-bedroom hotel is located in the West Cliff area of the seaside resort and has benefited from a recent £150,000 refurbishment.

Facilities include a 70-seat restaurant, a 50-seat bar lounge with a wood-block dance floor and a bar servery, and a dry lounge.

The property also includes an owners' suite and a double staff bedroom/living room with en-suite shower room.

The hotels and leisure division of property agent Goadsby sold the hotel to a Surrey-based hotel investment company.

Croham Hurst hotel has been owned and operated for the past five years by the Aaron House Hotel Group, which has put its other hotels in Bournemouth (the Diplomat, the Westleigh and the Lynden Court hotels) on the market through Goadsby.
