The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 1 October, 2006
London hotels experienced a 19.9% rise in revenue per available room (revpar) in the week ending 1 October, compared with the same week last year, the latest figures from hotel benchmarking service, The Bench, reveal.
Revpar climbed from £98.88 for week 39 in 2005 to £118.57.
Occupancy increased by 8.8 percentage points for the same week on a year-on-year basis, up from 77.8% to 84.6%. Average room rate climbed by 10.2% to £140.12, up from £127.10 in 2005.
