Two new royal suites for Grosvenor House
Royal Hyde Park suite
London's Grosvenor House hotel has launched two royal suites to join a recently restored collection of 40 suites at the five-AA-star, 496-bedroom property.
The new Royal Mayfair and Royal Hyde Park suites bring the total cost of all 42 suites to £7.4m.
Created by GA Design, the suites have introduced a contemporary British feel - with warm, neutral colours reflecting the changing seasons of nearby Hyde Park - to the luxury property, which is operated under the luxury JW Marriott brand.
Each suite costs from £5,000 per night and measures 170 sq m, with a bedroom, living room and two bathrooms. A signature scent is provided by British candle maker, Timothy Dunn.
Stuart Bowery, general manager of Grosvenor House, said: "We are excited to have completed the latest chapter of our story. Our royal suites pay homage to our fascinating past whilst acknowledging the excitement of our future with a fresh, present day relevance to suit the expectations of today's accomplished global traveller."
