Von Essen adds Ynyshir Hall to its portfolio

Luxury country house hotel owner Von Essen continued its aggressive acquisition strategy this week, adding two properties to its growing portfolio. The nine-bedroom, Michelin-starred Ynyshir Hall (pictured) in Machynlleth, Powys, has become the company's first Welsh property and Von Essen plans to redevelop the 16th-century site's derelict outbuildings into extra guestrooms and spa and leisure facilities.
The company also announced the completion of a £8.65m deal for the Ickworth hotel in Suffolk.
