Yotel looks for sales and marketing director

Yotel, the budget capsule hotel concept, is on the hunt for its first sales and marketing director.

The first two Yotel facilities are set to open at Heathrow and Gatwick in October with a third site set to open in central London next year.

The sales and marketing director will be responsible for a pre-opening advertising campaign, implementing sales and promotional strategy and establishing brand partnerships with bodies such as airlines and tourist boards

The appointed marketer will report to chief executive officer Gerard Greene.

Yotel is a sister company to Yo Sushi! and controlled by private equity group Primary Capital. The concept has been devised by Yo Sushi! founder and entrepreneur Simon Woodroffe and Greene and is based on Japanese capsule hotels.

The 10.5sq m rooms feature a flat screen television, internet facilities and en-suite bathroom.

There are premium and economy cabins from £70 and £40 respectively a night.
