Jack Scott named general manager of the Albion Aberteifi

Jack Scott has been appointed general manager of the Albion Aberteifi in Wales.

The Albion resides in a Grade II-listed former granary storehouse and opened in summer 2022 as the first hotel from lifestyle and staycation group Fforest under general manager Steffan Walker.

Scott was born and raised in Wales but moved to London aged 17 to begin his career in hospitality. He has worked as a bartender at bars such as the London Cocktail Club, Opium in Soho, Mahiki in Mayfair and Callooh Callay in Shoreditch.

He then launched a restaurant with a friend in Trinidad & Tobago, which was called Cazabon.

Scott also spent time as Maitre D at private members' club Annabel's in Mayfair before joining the Pan Pacific Hotel Group in the opening of cocktail bar Silverleaf in Liverpool Street.

Fforest is run by husband and wife James and Sian Tucker, and has three further locations across Cardigan: Fforest Farm, Fforest Coast and apartments and culinary venues such as Pizzatipi.
