Jay Burgesson-Carter announces departure from Bovingdons Catering

Jay Burgesson-Carter has left his role as managing director of Bovingdons Catering after two and a half years at the company.

Posting on LinkedIn, he said: "Having started my journey in 2021 with Adam Karni-Cohen, Theo Wieder and working with Rhubarb Hospitality Collection and Oak View Group along the way it's been an exciting adventure and I have learnt so much.

"Leading the team as MD for the last 18 months has been nothing short of a privilege, working with some incredible talent; notably the dedicated senior leadership team Vicki Pearson, James Ford, Michelle Kimpton and wider team who kept me in check and ensured I was leading by the best example at all times."

He added: "I've been lucky to work with some of the most incredible clients, suppliers, partners and venues and want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for making hospitality such fun!"

Prior to joining Bovingdons, which provides services at almost 30 venues, including Leighton House in London's Holland Park and Dulwich Picture Gallery in London's Dulwich Village, Burgesson-Carter was previously managing director of premium event caterer Food Show.

He ended the announcement of his departure with a teaser for his next project, which "may be the biggest one yet".

Bovingdons Catering was founded 30 years ago and also has partnerships with seven cafes and restaurants across the south east.
