The month of love... and we LOVE to see new businesses open their doors across the country. With kitchens at the ready, bars stocked with booze and rooms starting to welcome their first guests, there's new hospitality venues opening up in February.
From the best new restaurants to the buzziest new hotels, there are plenty of new openings happening this month.

Carmel, Fitzrovia, London
Brothers Josh and Paul Katz and Mattia Bianchi, the team behind Berber & Q in London's Haggerston and Shawarma Bar in London's Exmouth Market, will be opening Carmel in London's Fitzrovia next month. Following the success of Carmel in Queen's Park in north London, the trio are due to launch a 95-cover version of the Eastern Mediterranean restaurant in Market Place near Oxford Street.
The menu will focus on fresh pastas, such as seafood pappardelle with mussels, squid, hake and saffron, and ricotta agnolotti with confit tomato, wild oregano and lemon butter.
The wine menu, curated by Bianchi, will feature a varied selection of low-intervention wines available by the glass, bottle, magnum or jeroboam.

Mr Fogg's City Tavern, Liverpool Street, London
Inception Group has opened Mr Fogg's City Tavern in London's Liverpool Street. The design pays homage to a Victorian public house and features tankards and wooden hot air balloons. Dishes include chicken and leek pie with mashed potato and ribeye steak sandwich.

The Rows & Vine at the Winery, East Sussex
English sparkling wine producer Ridgeview has opened the Rows & Vine at the Winery, a 40-cover dining room with views over the estate's vines, with head chef Neill Kefford.

Valaria, Glasgow
Nico Simeone, who is behind Six by Nico under Six Company, has relaunched his first all-day bakery, Valaria, following a refurbishment.
The Glasgow-based eatery now offers an enhanced breakfast and lunch menu, as well as its signature Parisian hot chocolate.

The Constitution, Camden, London
The Constitution in London's Camden, which was acquired by Young & Co's Brewery in 2020, will reopen this month. The canal-side pub is set across three floors and has a 32-cover rooftop terrace overlooking Regent's Canal. Head chef Jay Bond offers a menu of seasonal British produce.

Colina, Margate
Colina has opened in Margate's Fort Road hotel under head chef Luis Freitas. The 35-cover all-day restaurant serves a menu featuring suppliers such as Broadstairs' Modern Boulangerie and Northdown Butchers.

Kioku by Endo, Whitehall, London
Creative Restaurant Group is set to open Kioku by Endo at the OWO in London's Whitehall under chef patron Endo Kazutoshi. Kioku restaurant will be on the rooftop with views over Westminster and Whitehall, serving Japanese cuisine with hints of Mediterranean flavours, while Kioku bar will offer sakes chosen by Sake Samurai Natsuki Kikuya.

Grasso, Soho, London
Seanie Grasso has opened a 180-cover Italian-American restaurant in the former Wagamama site in London's Soho.
Grasso pays homage to the founder's family, who were originally from Syracuse in Sicily and later moved to London and New York in the middle of the 20th century.
The menu serves a selection of Old Country classics, Little Italy favourites and the family's third-generation meatball recipe, served with spaghetti al pomodoro. Six New York-style pizzas will also be available.
Meanwhile, the wine list offers a focus on Italian produce, as well as retro cocktails such as the Cherry Coke Long Island Iced Tea.
Grasso has been described as a "real family affair", with Seanie's brother James and sister Maud supporting in brand and marketing, while their mother Anna leads as menu consultant.

La Muña, Bloomsbury, London
Japanese-Peruvian restaurant La Muña is set to launch within a historic church in L'oscar in London's Bloomsbury. Executive chef Arturas Kondratjevas has curated a menu divided into crudo, caliente and ceviche dishes.

El Bar de Cavita, Marylebone, London
Adriana Cavita is set to launch El Bar de Cavita beneath her restaurant in London's Marylebone. Classic cocktails with a twist, such as the watermelon margarita, will be available alongside a selection of Mexican spirits that range from mezcals to lesser-known products such as sotol.

The Real Greek, Liverpool
The Real Greek has opened its first restaurant in Liverpool in a 3,900 sq ft unit with 162 covers. The space will feature white and blue accents throughout. Greek drinks, such as Mythos beer, ouzo and tsipouro, will also be on offer.

Cogs, Coventry
All-day restaurant and bar Cogs has opened in Hotel Indigo Coventry under head chef Marek Jani, who has previously worked as head chef at Strawberry Bank hotel in Solihull and the Saxon Mill in Warwick.

Bench la Cave, Sheffield
Bartender Jack Wakelin, chef Ronnie Aronica and house baker Dan Ward have joined forces to open bakery and Parisian-inspired wine bar Bench la Cave at Sheffield's Park Hill. The Bench team previously launched the pub Pearl in September 2023.

Morchella, Newington Green, London
Ben Marks and Matthew Emmerson, the pair behind Perilla in London's Newington Green, have teamed up with Daniel Fletcher to open Morchella. The restaurant will serve a selection of Mediterranean dishes.
