Colonnade, Bristol
Contract caterer Graysons has partnered with Bristol Beacon concert hall to open the Colonnade restaurant. The contemporary restaurant is located under the Bristol Byzantine arches of the Grade II-listed building and offers a seasonal all-day menu showcasing locally sourced ingredients.
Executive chef Joshua Bebbington, who has more than 20 years' experience in the industry, will be leading Colonnade. The classically trained chef has worked for a number of restaurants, including the River Cottage in Axminster, Devon, and L'Escargot in London's Soho.
A selection of local spirits, beers, ciders, perries, cocktails, in-house shrubs and ferments will be available alongside the standard wine list.
Colonnade will be joined by two new bars at Bristol Beacon, including the Weston Stage, which has a vaulted cellar, and Simon's Bar on the mezzanine above the restaurant.

Scales, Marylebone, London
Mixologists Din Jusufi and Engji Shala, both ex-Farzi London, have opened a cocktail bar in Marylebone, London. As part of its scientific approach, many of the drinks are prepared in a centrifuge. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available.

Yiqi, Chinatown, London
Pan-Asian restaurant Yiqi has opened in London's Chinatown under chef Lum Wah Cheok, who has previously worked at Hakkasan and Yauatcha. The 2,000 sq ft diner serves dishes from countries including China, Korea and Japan.

Alley Cats, Marylebone, London
New York-style pizzeria Alley Cats has opened in London's Marylebone. Sicilian head chef Francesco Macri has curated a menu showcasing southern Italian ingredients such as San Marzano tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella from Campania.

Rosa's Thai, Guildford
Saiphin and Alex Moore's Rosa's Thai is set to open in Guildford, Surrey, as the restaurant group nears 40 sites across the UK. The 70-cover space will feature a selection of collectables and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Ottolenghi, Hampstead, London
Ottolenghi group has opened its sixth deli in London's Hampstead in partnership with long-time collaborator Alex Meitlis, who has designed every Ottolenghi site to date.

Bellazul
Mediterranean restaurant and bar Bellazul is set to open in London's Marylebone under head chef Simone Serafini, who was previously head chef of Cecconi's. It will offer seasonally-changing sharing platters and an extensive cocktail and wine list.
