P&O Cruises has further strengthened its relationship with the Cateys by confirming its headline sponsorship of the awards.
P&O Cruises, which is part of Carnival Corporation & PLC, has chosen to partner with The Caterer to align its business more closely with the event that is considered the Oscars of the hospitality industry and further demonstrate its commitment to excellence in travel and hospitality.
Taking place at Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel on 2 July 2024, the Cateys will shine a spotlight on the highest achievers and most inspirational performers in the industry.
Like the Cateys, which recognises talent across the hospitality sector, P&O Cruises has long held partnerships with a number of inspirational chefs including Marco Pierre White, Jose Pizarro and Shivi Ramoutar as well as wine expert Olly Smith.
Carnival UK & P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: "We are delighted to be headline sponsors of the flagship awards in the hospitality industry. P&O Cruises is dedicated to creating memorable food and beverage moments across our ships through our teams of talented chefs and front of house colleagues. We aim to develop innovative and relevant menus across our speciality dining on board including Green & Co on our newest ship Arvia, our first plant-based restaurant. Recognising excellence across hospitality fits perfectly with our pursuit of delivering industry and sector leading experiences."
The Caterer editor James Stagg added: "I'm delighted to welcome P&O Cruises on-board as headline sponsor of the 2024 Cateys. With a focus on food and beverage excellence it is the perfect partner to join us in hosting the most recognised and respected awards in the UK hospitality industry."
