Ask Italian to open Maidstone site

Ask Italian is set to open its third restaurant of the year when it launches a site in Maidstone, Kent, in early April.

The brand has already opened sites in Swindon in January, and a new flagship site in Manchester in Piccadilly Gardens this week.

The opening of the Ask Italian restaurant in Maidstone, at 31-33 Earl Street, will mean that the brand has 111 restaurants across the country, with another five planned by this summer and more in the pipeline.

Ask Italian is one of two brands operated by Ask-Zizzi, a new company formed in December last year when private equity firm Bridgepoint agreed to by Ask Italian and Zizzi from Gondola for £250m.
