Côte secures 50th site

Côte has secured a site for its 50th restaurant - a 3,500 sq ft property in London's Muswell Hill.

It took a new 25-year lease on 311-323 Muswell Hill Broadway in a deal brokered by property agency Shelley Sandzer.

Côte, which was founded with Richard Caring's backing by Andy Bassadone, Chris Benians and Nick Fiddler in 2007, was last year sold to private equity group CBPE Capital for £100m.

Led by joint managing directors Harald Samuelsson and Alex Scrimgeour, it is set to expand by around 10 sites per year.
