Critics give lukewarm welcome to new-look Quo Vadis

Sam and Eddie Hart's latest restaurant opening Quo Vadis has met with a lukewarm welcome from London's food critics, with Time Out's Guy Dimond deploring the service at the newly refurbished Soho eaterie.

While he enjoyed the food, Dimond said the service at Quo Vadis was "all over the show" adding that the waiters were "too busy fussing among themselves to notice the diners".

Bloomberg's Richard Vines meanwhile finds it difficult to get excited about Quo Vadis.

"If I wanted this sort of food, I'd head over to Hix, or to Maze Grill for steaks. If I wanted high-quality cooking in Soho, it would be hard to beat Arbutus for value," he said.

Meanwhile, Metro's Marina O'Loughlin is impressed with the vegan cuisine at Saf Restaurant in Shoreditch praising it for its admirable ambition.
