Domino's Pizza boss to quit

Lance Batchelor, the chief executive of takeaway pizza firm Domino's is to quit the business.

"Lance has been offered a new role in a significant private equity backed company and as a result has tendered his resignation. His new company operates in a non-competing sector," Domino's Chairman Stephen Hemsley said in a statement.

Batchelor is expected to stay at the company until 30 April 2014. Domino's said it had already begun the search for a replacement.
