Frescobaldi operators to launch second London restaurant

The operators of Frescobaldi in London's W1 are set to open a new Turkish venue in Marylebone.

Restaurateurs Sanjay Nandi and Levent Buyukugur (pictured), founders of the Good Food Society, aim to launch the 150-cover Yosma, a Turkish meyhane and mangal and raki bar, serving Istanbul-inspired street food, in June 2016.

The Good Food Society opened Frescobaldi in collaboration with the Italian wine dynasty, the Frescobaldi family, in Mayfair in 2014.

Head chef Hus Vedat, formerly of Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa, will front the new 4,814sq ft restaurant on Baker Street, which replaces Indali Lounger.

Restaurant Property brokered the deal. The rent is undisclosed with a lease on assignment until 2024.
