Kench & Bibesy set to launch in Farringdon

The venue will open on 20 November for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday in an art deco building that was originally used to supply meat machinery to Smithfields Market next door.

The daytime food and drink offer of "three hearty sandwiches", British roasted coffee and microbrewery beers will be available for both eat-in and takeaway.

In the evening, the kitchen will offer a concise, changing menu of small plates focusing on British ingredients, bold flavours and seasonality.

Reclaimed furniture and objects sourced from salvage yards and former schools and hospitals will be used to create a "relaxed and industrial space".
