‘Salt Bae' to open steakhouse in the Park Tower Knightsbridge Hotel
Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe, nicknamed ‘Salt Bae' after videos of him cutting meat and sprinkling it with salt went viral, is to open a restaurant in the Park Tower Knightsbridge Hotel.
The Nusr-Et Steakhouse will be Gökçe's first London opening, following restaurants in Turkey, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and America.
Gökçe was thrown into the limelight after a video of himself slicing and seasoning a steak went viral in the first week of January 2017.
The chef's signature dishes include roasted Asado short rib and Nusr-Et meat spaghetti.
Nusr-Et steakhouses also feature tartare selections and light salads as well as a range of "exciting" cocktails.
