Rutland Hall hotel announces Adrian Pickard as new GM

Adrian Pickard joins Rutland Hall from the Headland hotel in Newquay.

Pickard will bring over 30 years of experience with him to the Rutland Hall hotel in the Midlands where he will help bolster the four-star lakeside hotel's reputation as a leading travel destination in the UK.

Prior to his time as GM at the Headland in Cornwall, Pickard worked at the likes of Hoar Cross Hall and the Radisson hotel group.

"I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Rutland Hall Hotel and look forward to working with the amazing team here to ensure that we position the hotel as one of the leading destination resorts within the UK," said Pickard.

"The upcoming projects, including the launch of the new Pavilion, one of the largest hotel event spaces in the region, and the development plans for a new spa and wellness facility, present exciting opportunities for growth and innovation."

Back in 2021 the hotel underwent an extensive multimillion-pound refurbishment – including all 66 hotel rooms – and saw it rebrand from Barnsdale Hall hotel to Rutland Hall hotel and spa.
