Adande announce reluctant price increases

Refrigeration specialists Adande have announce a price increase citing a "multitude of changes politically and financially across the globe" for the decision, which has seen manufacturers in foodservice compelled to increase their prices by an average of 8-20%.

In spite of no price increases for more than four years, Adande have reluctantly decided that due to currency fluctuations they have no other option than to take action. The price increase will take place from 1 December 2016 to levy a 5% increase across their range, with a review in July 2017.

Karl Hodgson, Adande's UK sales director, said: "Adande was reluctant to put any increase on price but is resigned to the fact that there is no other business option at the moment. Adande customers have been loyal and understand the real ongoing savings on a premium product that can give a return on investment and is suitable for refurbishment in the long term too. I would compel potential customers to ask for a trial and see measured results before purchasing other equipment, as specifying poor or less flexible options can be detrimental to the customer bottom line too."

Adande will honour all quotes and orders currently placed, and any placed before 1 December 2016.
