Bidvest Foodservice has released details of a new Own Brand product launch, which incorporates four ranges: Essential Supplies, Everyday Favourites, Premium Selection and the Farmstead meat range.
Essential Supplies is the non-food brand, providing products at great value with a focus on keeping kitchens clean so that the food can take centre stage.
Everyday Favourites consists of over 600 products and offers foodservice operators everything from ingredients for scratch cooking or ready prepared products.
Premium Selection encompasses a collection of the finest quality food and ingredients with all the products in this group requiring endorsement from the Craft Guild of Chefs.
Farmstead is a fresh meat brand which offers a broad range of meats from selected suppliers to ensure quality, consistency, trust and value. It aims to give foodservice operators reassurance that they are buying from a trusted brand that doesn't compromise on standards.
Holly Marrero Easson, own brand manager for Bidvest Foodservice, said: "Our research showed that 50% of all purchases contained Own Brand products, so it is clear that there is a significant demand for Own Brand amongst our customers.
"We've relaunched the portfolio to make it easier for operators to shop with us and as part of this, we've also created a new non-food brand and a new premium brand, allowing customers to find what they are looking for more quickly and simply, as well as being able to offer a wider variety of products that match individual establishment needs."
