Chocolate-flavoured pancake from Honeytop

Speciality baker Honeytop reckons its new chocolate-flavoured pancake is a first for the UK and represents the biggest innovation in pancakes in the last half century. It is designed to fill a gap in the market for new pancake flavours, and taps into growing consumer demand for chocolatey baked goods.

Cocoa is added to a traditional pancake recipe to create a rich taste and fluffy texture. They can be toasted like traditional pancakes as a breakfast option or eaten straight from the pack as a snack. The pancakes are sold in a range of sizes, from 7cm minis to extra-large 12.5cm rounds. Shelf life varies from seven days for fresh orders to six months for frozen deliveries.
