Versatile granular ice - its many uses range from cocktails to fish display cabinets - is produced by three new compact ice-makers from DC Catering that have been designed for fast production and high storage from a minimal footprint.
The baby of the trio, the DCG90-20A, can produce 90kg of ice a day and store 20kg in its top storage bin but measures just 496mm wide x 660mm deep. The slightly taller DCG90-30A will also churn out 90kg of ice a day but can store up to 30kg. Caterers with a high demand for ice can opt for the 741mm-wide DCG150-40A, which produces 6.25kg of ice an hour to keep the 40kg storage bin topped up.
All run off 13amp plugs and have front-accessed motor housings in the base and 150mm legs for easy cleaning.
