Cuban lager launched by Pierhead

Cuban lager Bucanero is being launched in the UK under the name Cubanero Fuerte. The country has a crop of speciality beers created using locally grown ingredients, and Cubanero is made with a blend of malted barley, hops and Cuban sugar cane to give the drink a distinctive taste.
The Cubanero branding features a pirate, seafaring imagery and "100% Cubano" mark on the bottle neck. Brewed to 5.4% abv, Cubanero Fuerte is described as an aromatic, full-bodied lager with a gentle sparkle and full of malt notes.
It is available from Pierhead in 330ml bottles and distributed throughout the UK.
