Donatantonio becomes exclusive UK supplier of Ficacci Italian olives

Donatantonio, which has been importing and distributing Mediterranean food in the UK for more than 100 years, has become the exclusive UK supplier of Ficacci 100% Italian olives.

Ficcaci has been producing olives by traditional methods for three generations, and has been based in a state-of-the-art facility near Rome, the centre of Italian olive production, since the 1960s.

Varieties such as Gaeta, Nocellara del Belice and Nocellara Einea are prepared and cured in salt-water brine, or as a special recipe with no added chemicals. They are sold in a wide variety of sizes and formats, ranging from 150g trays to 4kg pouches and buckets.

An acknowledged specialist in its field, Ficacci has won approval from both the British Retail Consortium and the International Food Standard for its quality management, environmental and health and safety processes.
