An automatic hood option on Meiko's DV80.2 pass-through hood warewashing machine is activated at the press of a button, which allows for opening and closing of the hood and operation of the wash programme sequence.
Part of Meiko's premium class range, the DV80.2 is designed for crockery and glassware while the larger DV120.2, supplied with electronic control wash programmes, handles dishes as well as pans and oven containers.
The DV120.2 has three programme cycles and three pump motor outputs, combining three different models in one machine. The choice of three power levels gives optimum control of wash according to ware type and amount of soiling.
There is a gentle wash for delicate crockery such as tea and coffee cups, a more robust wash for dining plates and a power wash for pots, pans and utensils.
An electronically controlled ‘soft start' of the wash pump avoids any abrupt vibration of the machine on start-up, preventing damage to the contents and to the machine itself.
An optional extra on both machines is AirBox AktivAir. This reduces condensation in kitchens by absorbing steam into the hood that would otherwise be released when the hood is opened.
