Stock manufacturer Essential Cuisine has launched Essential Book of British Inspiration, an online guide which aims to spark creativity through seasonal recipes and offer advice from leading chefs.
Information on allergens and an insight into unwritten rules of the kitchen are provided alongside tips from top chefs such as chairman of the British Culinary Federation, Matt Davies.
Nigel Crane, managing director for Essential Cuisine, said: "We know how hard busy kitchens work to stay ahead of the game, cook with the seasons and manage in light of the latest allergen legislation, which is why we have compiled this handy guide to help them take menus to the next level.
Essential Cuisine is donating £5 to the Culinary Ability Awards for every guide that is downloaded during September and October. The Culinary Ability Awards is a non-profit charity that supports people with disabilities in the hospitality industry.
