HansDamf CompactPRO SpaceCombis from MKN

29 July 2010 by

Smaller catering premises are the natural home for the new HansDamf CompactPRO SpaceCombis from German supplier MKN.

They pack all the features found on their larger relatives into a 55cm-wide machine that requires less than 1m2 of countertop space, and still has a roomy 6 x 1/1 gastronorm capacity.

The ovens can be supplied as side-by-side Twin Packs, allowing the chef to use one for steaming and one for convection cooking, and the low connected load means that the two cookers together use less energy than a single larger machine.

Features include the Ready2Cook programme, which prepares the ideal cooking chamber climate; ClimaSelect to individually adjust the humidity; AutoChef pre-programmed cooking times and modes for different types of food; the AutoReverse fan to distribute air evenly; AutoShower, which rinses the chamber between two cooking processes; and the Perfection programme for regeneration.

A USB interface and HansDamf connect software are standard features across the HansDamf line, which includes Gold, Silver and Junior models.
