Inspire British potatoes from QV Foods

British new potatoes are the latest line to join QV Food's Inspire line of pre-prepared, ready-to-cook vegetables, which was launched in 2007 and is backed by http://www.masterchef.com/ "The BBC MasterChef website"" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">MasterChefpresenter Greg Wallace.

QV - which has grown into a leading potato grower, packer and processor since it acquired MBM Potatoes in 2009, doubling its capacity overnight - is currently in the process of buying Taypack Potatoes in Scotland. The acquisition will give the company coverage across all major UK growing areas, ensuring continuity of supply from a wide variety of sources with an overall growing season spanning April to October.

QV, a subsidiary of Lincolnshire-based family farm business AH Worth, can supply the potatoes in 500g, 750g or 1kg bags (although the larger size would need new packaging developed). The bags identify the potato variety but grower name and region can be added on request.
