Jersey Royals from Pauleys

Jersey Royal Potatoes can now be bought through Pauleys, Brakes's specialist fresh produce business.
Available from mid-May to the end of June, the Jersey variety is supplied brushed and ready for boiling. They can eaten hot, cold, in salads or as part of a main meal, and it is recommended that they are boiled with their skins on to seal in the flavour.
The season begins in November with planting under glass in light soil and sometimes seaweed. The main crop is planted outdoors in January and harvesting begins in April through to June.
The potatoes are available in 5kg bags.
