Mark Taylor launches Bloom Foodservice
Bloom Foodservice has launched to help food and drink manufacturers connect with buyers in the public and private sectors, namely education, health and social care.
Its founder and managing director is Mark Taylor, who most recently held the role of healthcare sector lead with Premier Foods for nearly 10 years following a role with Unilever Food Solutions.
Taylor is also involved with the National Association of Care Catering, where he holds the role of regional chair for the south-east region, and also one of two co-vice chairs behind the creation of the newly relaunched Institute of Hospitality Thames Valley Branch.
Taylor said: "Using over 30 years' experience in foodservice and hospitality and with a comprehensive network of industry contacts and leaders, our aim is to help smaller retail and artisan brands accelerate their growth into the highly lucrative public and private sectors within foodservice, or larger established companies venturing into new sectors and channels.
"This could range from local authority catering and private sector companies catering in schools through to universities, hospitals, civic catering, social care to accommodation, travel and pubs and high street chains."
Services from Bloom Foodservice will include sales structure organisation, marketing, social media campaigns, representation at trade and industry events and on-site operational audits.
