Mouse Monitor Unit from Rentokil

Rentokil has introduced a non-toxic, early-warning rodent monitoring system called the Mouse Monitor Unit. Designed to alert food businesses to the presence of rodents, the unit uses infrared technology to detect mice without using conventional bait boxes.

Once rodents have been identified, customers can call a Rentokil technician to act quickly to prevent a rodent outbreak or log it at PestNetOnline, the company's online reporting system.

The monitor has two entrances, one at each end of the unit, to allow mice to run through its passageways. If a mouse breaks two consecutive Infrared beams, it activates an LED light, immediately notifying the business owner or pest control technician to the presence of rodent activity.
