Bridor intense flavour macarons

French bakery manufacturer Bridor has added ‘intense flavour' macarons to its Delights range. The macarons are available in lemon-lime, morello cherry, pineapple and coconut, apple and cinnamon, vanilla and yuzu, and chocolate and fleur de sel varieties.

Rustle Snacks gourmet crisps

Rustle Snacks has introduced gourmet crisps in three flavours: the Ugly Truffle truffle chips, the Green Chilli jalapeño chips and the Sweet Pepper paprika chips. Black summer truffles from Croatia create the Ugly Truffle taste, with all varieties available in 50g and 150g bags and in bulk quantities of 24 x 50g bags and 12 x 150g bags.

Tipiak heart-shaped macarons

French pâtissier Tipiak has launched heart-shaped macarons into UK foodservice, suitable for weddings and afternoon teas as well as Valentine's Day. The chocolate and strawberry flavour macarons are available frozen via Central Foods and take two hours to defrost.

Each 15g macaron is 67 calories.

Just Desserts single portion grab-and-go cheesecakes

Just Desserts has launched a single portion grab-and-go cheesecake range in 12 flavours, including Ferrero Rocher, Oreo, salted caramel and strawberry glaze.

Nojo London sauces

Nojo London is launching its range of sauces in five-litre bottles for the first time this month. The white miso cooking sauce can be paired with vegetables such as aubergine to create a sweet and savoury umami taste; the creamy, nutty tahini sauce is made with tahini, lemon juice, tamari and maple syrup; and the sweet and fruity orange poké is made using orange juice, tamari soy sauce, toasted sesame oil and ginger.

New drinks for January 2024

Nice lower-ABV session wines

Wine brand Nice is launching two lower-ABV session wines for the first time – a Sauvignon Blanc and a Merlot at 3.4% ABV – that has been developed to taste like a full-strength wine. The white wine is dry and crisp and made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, while the Merlot is fruity and smooth with a hint of spice.

Mixologist's Garden freeze-dried fruit garnishes

Mixologist's Garden has extended its range of freeze-dried fruit garnishes for drinks with the launch of full slices of lemon, lime and orange. The garnishes have a long shelf life, can be stored at ambient temperatures and are waste-free. They quickly rehydrate on contact with liquid.

Sweet Freedom natural barista coffee syrups

Sweet Freedom, a plant-based syrups and spreads brand, has unveiled a range of natural barista coffee syrups. The syrups are available in 250ml and 1 litre bottles and come in three flavours: hazelnut, vanilla and caramel. The syrups are perfect to infuse coffee, with a natural sweetness drawn from apples and carob.

Drinks producer Quenched has launched a range of ready-to-drink sodas in lime, blackcurrant and orange flavours. The cans can be enjoyed on the go or as a mixer.

Fri-Jado hot deli counters

Foodservice display specialist Fri-Jado has added hot deli counters to its range. The units offer visibility from all sides and are designed to ensure long, consistent hold times to maximise operator profits and boost product quality. The counters are available in drop-in and standard formats in a choice of lengths (1,200mm, 1,500mm or 1,800mm), and come complete with warm LED internal lighting.

Glovelee foodservice gloves

Cromwell Polythene has introduced Glovelee foodservice gloves in four sizes. The gloves are made from and packaged in fully compostable material that breaks down and becomes metabolised by microorganisms when disposed of in composting. The latex- and powder-free design adheres to EN13432 standards and aims to reduce the risk of allergic reactions and skin irritations.

Pujadas bronze cookware

Peugeot has launched heart-shaped ceramic bakeware. Made in France and constructed of natural materials with a 10-year warranty, the dish is ideal for Valentine's Day. It features Peugeot's signature ceramic lip for easy handling. Price £16.50 each. Minimum order of £400 across the Peugeot range.

Sirman SoftCooker Wi-Food X NFC system

FEM has introduced the Sirman SoftCooker Wi-Food X NFC system which, when combined with the Sirman SoftCooker free app, provides greater control of the sous vide process. The multilingual app allows the user to control cooking cycles and temperatures and create, share and access recipes. The SoftCooker ensures consistent temperature throughout the water, limiting the likelihood of hot or cold spots.
