Cakes from Panesco

Panesco has added two cakes to its product line: an iced carrot cake with walnuts and a strawberry red velvet cake. Both are pre-portioned for convenience and ideal for selling alongside tea and coffee.

Tartlets from La Lorraine

La Lorraine Bakery Group has launched a range of tartlets in frangipane, raspberry crumble and rhubarb lemon varieties, as well as a lemon poppy seed cake (available pre-sliced).

The Ginger Bakers traybake gift boxes

The Ginger Bakers team have developed a range of gifting sleeves for vegan, free-from and standard traybake gift boxes. Options include a mixed traybake with apricot, pistachio and lemon thyme crumble cake; carrot and ginger cake; and a gluten-free berry and beetrot brownie traybake. There is also a vegan tray-bake option too.

Rollagranola Nootropics range

Granola company Rollagranola has launched its Nootropics range. The cashew, mango and chocolate version is part of the Calm range, while cappuccino and white chocolate is part of the Energize range. There is also a vegan granola containing oats, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds and cranberry.

New drinks for June 2023

Light English Spritz from Pinkster

Pinkster has launched Light English Spritz (4% ABV), a sparkling spritz handcrafted in Cambridgeshire using gin-soaked raspberries that are left over from producing gin. A 125ml serve is 50 calories.

Pomello aperitif

This summer sees the launch of Pomello, an aperitif (18% ABV) blending pomello and elderflower, a first for the UK market. Designed to be served as a spritz, it can be mixed with sparkling wine over ice, garnished with a wedge of grapefruit.

Yiayia Mediterranean-inspired gin

Irini Tzortzoglou, the Greek chef and 2019 MasterChef winner, has launched a Mediterranean-inspired gin with the Shed One micro agin distillery in Ulverston in the Lake District. Yiayia, which translates as ‘grandmother', evokes the flavours and aromas of Tzortzoglou's homeland of Crete and features vine, fig, olive and lemon leaves.

SySoft Luxury Bamboo Toilet Tissue

Cleaning, hygiene, and catering products supplier Sybron has launched SySoft Luxury Bamboo Toilet Tissue. The three-ply rolls are made from 100% bamboo and have plastic-free packaging.

Optimum washing from Wexiödisk

Wexiödisk has launched the new WD-66CTS, aimed at high-volume catering environments that need to wash trays and cutlery together. The WD-66CTS is designed to deliver optimum washing and drying results with low energy consumption and can wash up to 1,500 trays (up to a size of 530mmx530mm) and 4,500 items of cutlery per hour, with two drying zones.

Vollrath conveyor toaster
