Starters and Sides potato and vegetable snacks from McCain

Rather than serving plain chips, caterers can offer creative variations from McCain's Starters and Sides range of potato and vegetable products, including Potato Scoops, Beer Battered Onion Rings and Hot and Spicy Baby Corn.

The scoop-shaped Potato Scoops, cut from a whole potato and suitable for dipping and scooping, are supplied in four cases of 2kg packs. Herby Onion Scoops (3 x 1kg) are slices of whole onions coated in a light and crispy herb batter and are shortlisted in the Starters, Side Orders and Buffet Products category of the Caterer and Hotelkeeper Excellence in Food and Drink Awards 2008.

Also in the range are Beer Battered Lattice Fries and Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, which caterers can serve alone as a bar snack or to complement a larger meal.
